“Designed and crafted with organic European hemp, Heron’s eco glam designs are guilt-free luxurious and beautifully streamlined.

Luxury hemp might still be a mystery to some, but consider that Heather Heron uses only the finest organic European hemp in her perfectly-sized clutches and totes. Small enough to take with you everywhere for just about any occasion, and roomy enough to stash your essentials, Heather keeps the modern woman in mind with her stylish versatile creations.

Wholesome materials abound in all Heather Heron organic hemp accessories embellished with naturally dyed hemp-silk charmeuse lining and leather banding accents. Heron is a self-taught designer who smartly designs a few keys pieces each season that speak to a well-curated wardrobe. Her L.A. produced clutches and totes are being eagerly snatched up by eco-savvy starlets as well as stores and retailers that are looking to promote only the best of eco fashion and socially responsible production.”

Designer Spotlight: Ève Gravel

Given this young designer’s uncommon talent and a broad vision, it is hardly surprising to note that Ève Gravel is now considered one of Quebec’s most promising fashion creators. Just 27 years old, she already heads Ève Gravel, the self-named label which for 10 seasons now, has been attracting attention with a decidedly personal style characterized by freshness, daring and flawless cuts.

After working with renowned designers Georges Lévesque, Kevin Alwood (Nevik) and Kathleen Kovats for three years, the graduate of Ottawa’s Richard Robinson Academy of Fashion Design left for Europe to tap into other sources of inspiration. By then, the idea of setting up her own company and making her personal vision of fashion available to the public was already beginning to take shape.

With her well-known determination, just months after her return, Eve Gravel founded her eponymous company, Eve Gravel. And, rather than limiting her approach, season after season, the she has come up with collections designed for strong, uncompromising women, an approach that has attracted an ever-growing clientele.

As a result of the label’s success, the young designer’s innovative collections can now be found throughout Canada, in boutiques and major department stores such as The Bay and Simon’s. Recently discovered by a New York agent, the Eve Gravel label will soon be available to our neighbours to the south.

Eve Gravel says, “The clothes are slightly underground. They’re edgy but accessible. “I design for a woman who wants to make a strong impression.” Eve Gravel’s clothing do the double duty beautifully — career appropriate for day and sexed up for night. And with prices that won’t break the bank fans are rapidly growing. For more information on her newests collection check out her website @ Eve Gravel.
